Scheduled Times in the Logger
From version 1.12.2 the JSV Flight Logger reads your duty roster and shows when each booked flight is due to go, so you no longer have to open every briefing to find out which one is next.
On the Home screen
- A roster strip above the flight list names the duty, its operator and aircraft, how many legs are done, and when the next one departs.
- The next flight card carries the scheduled off-blocks time and a live countdown.
- Each upcoming row shows its own scheduled time.
- With a roster running, your bookings are listed in roster order, so the flight shown as next really is the next leg of the duty.
The countdown
The countdown reads in 1h 24m, then in 8m, then departing now. Once the slot has passed it turns amber and reads 2h 10m ago: a late flight is stated plainly rather than hidden, and it is still perfectly flyable.
Countdowns are measured against the JetStream Virtual server's clock rather than your PC's. If your machine is a few minutes out, the logger and the website will still agree on how long you have.
If you do not have a roster
Nothing changes. The times are an addition to the flight list, not a replacement for it: with no duty roster running, the Home screen looks exactly as it did before, and your bids behave the same way.
Bids and the 24 hour window
Bids are released 24 hours after they are made, which is why a roster can only be planned a day ahead. If a roster spans a night stop, the later legs can outlive that window; opening the duty roster page on the website puts any released bookings straight back, so the logger keeps showing the full duty.
