About Neos
Neos was founded in 2001 as a joint venture between Italian tour operator Alpitour and Germany's TUI, with first flights in 2002 from Milan Malpensa. Now fully owned by the Alpitour Group, it has grown from a pure charter operator into one of Italy's main leisure airlines with an expanding scheduled network.
Neos was the first Italian airline to operate the Boeing 787, flying the 787-9 alongside 737 MAX 8s from Milan Malpensa and Verona. Destinations range from Mediterranean and Red Sea resorts to Zanzibar, the Maldives and the Caribbean, plus a scheduled Milan to New York JFK service launched in 2021.
