About National Airlines

National Airlines is an American cargo and passenger charter carrier founded in 1985 and based in Orlando, Florida. It is one of the last US supplemental airlines to combine Boeing 747-400 freighters with widebody passenger flying, operating Airbus A330s on troop rotations, hajj pilgrimages and leisure charters alongside its worldwide freight business.

The airline is a specialist in heavy and outsized cargo and a regular contractor for the US Department of Defense. In 2026 it began a new chapter with the introduction of its first Boeing 777 freighters, which will fly alongside the 747s from its Orlando base.
